10 Year anniversary of our Music week in France.

Join us as we go on tour with

Haarlem’s Baroque Youth Orchestra

What are your plans for the summer holidays…?

How about joining us for the

Royal Court’s Festival 2012

From the 21st. to the 28th. of July in France

This is a unique chance to be part of the  Haarlem’s Baroque Youth Orchestra, which is specially established to celebrate the 10th. anniversary of the  ‘Music Week In France” of this Violin School.

With this orchestra we intend going on tour through France, giving concerts at beautiful French courts and castles.

The music we will be playing, is music which was originally made for just such locations, the amazing great courts of Europe.  This music began at the historical Court of Versailles, where Johann Stamitz , with his Mannheimer Chapel, made an unforgettable impression in 1750!

It is our wish to rediscover this music, to reproduce it in 18th. century locations.  This is the reason we will study the 18th. century music of: Haydn, Bach, Stmitz and Gossec and others.

The Haarlem’s Baroque Youth Orchestra will be led by conductor Henk van Benthem

Programme:

The Netherlands (2nd. June  – 7th. July)
